HOW TO MAKE MONEY ONLINE 2MORO

I confess I’m a “die-hard” TV addict.  Which makes me an “expert” of-sorts when it comes to criticising some of the most ridiculous “stuff” you still get from the “goggle box”.  At this day and age, when technology is at its peak, you wouldn’t expect to find some TV dramas still testing our “brains” when it comes to logic and plain common sense.

Take for eg a scene in a hospital.  When a patient is about to be wheeled in for an operation, you don’t expect to find the patient’s face with full make-up on, do you?  Well, that’s what you get on some Asian TV dramas.  I won’t mention which country they’re from, but for those who are keen fans of such series/serials, you’d probably come across what I’ve just mentioned.

Now, I know we want the leading lady to look good on TV, but doesn’t this whole scenario look ridiculous?  From someone who has been through quite a few operations personally, the first thing the doctor/nurse tells you is that any kind of “make-up” is a “no-no”.  In fact, when I was laid down to rest after my past surgeries, I definitely was in no mood to put on anything, even in anticipation of visits from concerned “boyfriends” (we’re talking decades ago when I was young and sought-after!!  LOL!!!).

Back to the “hospital scene”.  The best part is when they do a “close-up” of the patient - revealing eyeliners and mascara in all its glory.  Man-o-man!!  How dumb is that!!

Then, there’s the scene where the actors and actresses are seated around a table.  Now, in reality, we know that we fill up all the spaces around a table, right?  However, in such TV dramas, the people occupy only three-quarters of the space.  That’s because it is required that we see all of the cast.  So, what you get is kind of like a moon crescent.  Doesn’t the director realise that he/she is shooting a TV show?  It’s quite ok if some of the cast could not be viewed.  After all, it adds a realistic element to the scene.  Just shoot around the table and all the cast will get their air-time.  It’s not like in a “theatre” where the audience can only view the cast from one angle.  Geez!!

Then there are those dramas that keep changing the hairstyles of the cast.  When an actor turns from being a “baddie” to a “good guy”, the hairstyle transforms itself dramatically.  And don’t get me started on the females either.  When they’re portrayed as being a “bitch” of sorts, the hair is usually all fanned out like a peacock strutting its feathers.  But, when the same actress suddenly reforms, her hair gets toned down!!

Ah, those dramas.  But, like I said, I’m a TV addict and I sometimes can’t help but get caught up with the storylines.  So, as much as I’d like to STOP viewing such shows, I just gotta tune in the next day and see what the characters are up to, who died and who got resurrected.  Hahahaha!!!

And don’t get me started on the sub-plots.  There are just so many orphaned characters and their eventual discovery of their biological parents, and anybody and everybody’s lives are somewhat entwined with each other.  I guess when you have a total sum of hundreds of episodes, you have to keep going on and on about the “discovery” plots.  But it gets tiresome after a while.  Yes, it does.  But I don’t get tired of watching them, do you??
